Book Check In Procedures
- Books will be returned to designated "Library book return" bins in or near classrooms (with wheels for easy transport to the library).
- Books will be checked in by library staff and placed in quarantine so that any possible traces of COVID virus will be gone before giving the library item to another person. Studies show that effective quarantine time is 4 days for books, 5 days for magazines. After the quarantine time has passed, the library materials can be shelved or checked out to other patrons.
